Eliene is the best language teacher I have ever had. I came in with an intermediate knowledge and thouroughly learned from and enjoyed our extended hours together, moving seamlessly through various different types of exercises (comprehension, verbs, vocabulary, colloquial language), never losing my focus and energy. I was always sure you would do well in the exam, but I was especially pleased you got a distinction in the Legal paper. Seit einigen Jahren nehme ich Portugiesischunterricht bei Eliene. Selten habe ich einen so guten, abwechslungsreichen und informativen Unterricht erleben duerfen. Es macht einen Riesenspass, da Eliene jede Unterrichtsstunde voellig individuell gestaltet. Aktuelle Themen aus Politik und Wirtschaft, sowie brasilianische Besonderheiten werden mitaufgenommen. Sie eroeffnet einem einen leichten Zugang zum Verstaendnis der brasilianischen Kultur. Ich kann bestaetigen, dass nach mehreren verschiedenen Portugiesischlehrern die ich hatte, ist Eliene mit Abstand die Beste. Nur weiter so!!!

Eliene, thanks to my classes I could move ahead. Being also a teacher, I understand how difficult it may be to give classes with a sort of irregular schedule. But for Eliene, this was no problem. We had flexible learning hours and she would always make adjustments with courtesy. She has a good blend of commitment and calmness. I appreciate her resorting to different media, such as music, TV, newspapers in addition to traditional books and exercises. I even appreciated, believe me, homework.She always had also good tips for outside classes activities: tours, trips, places to go, etc. She proved a helpful source. Thank you!

I am a polish traveler in Brazil. I wanted to learn Portuguese and Eliene Zlatkin was my teacher for two weeks. I´could´t speak a word before I met here. After 10 days I was able to make a conversation. Her classes are very motivating and dynamic. She uses visual games and music. She is sometimes as a psychologist. Besides that, she is enthusiastic and positive person. I appreciate her way of teaching and I recommend it. My staying in Rio was perfect! I learnt a lot of Portuguese. I practiced with my people, but what helped me most were my classes: because the teacher is very good and made me talk a lot.
