The course is targeted at intermediate and advanced foreign students that have either learned Portuguese or lived in Brazil and would like to keep on or build up acquired knowledge through our richest way of art expression: Music

:: Lessons
Ten songs of different kinds of Brazilian Popular Music were selected and followed by
exercises and interactive tasks in vocabulary and grammar connected to their context. An attractive innovation is a glossary with words singled out from each song lyrics. Exercises and tasks are automatically corrected, with explanatory feedbacks for each answer, so that you will be able to improve with autonomy and in a pleasant way. In every lesson, carefully selected links will allow you to go on browsing and lead to new and relevant information on Brazilian culture and society.

For example, after working on a typical song of Southern Brazil, you will be able to access the region by reaching a nice photograph site, to gather information about local economy and the main tourist sites, and if wanted, to turn on a typical Southern radio station.

:: Methodology
Adopted methodology is communicative and reading approach is socio-interactively based, which means that cultural aspects are seen within an actual context, so that lessons become pleasant and really effective. We have selected kinds of songs, rhythms and musicians from different regions of Brazil and from past and present times in order to introduce you to local accents and ways of speaking.You will lthen find no difficulty in comprehension in any part of the country.

Each lesson is independent from the other and can be assessed in any order. In each one there is a song, a glossary for particular words in lyrics, exercises, plays and other connected links. Each lesson, including exercises, takes around 45 minutes.

:: Cost and payment

2. If you are in Brazil, you can make a deposit at Banco REAL (356), in favour of Eliene Zlatkin, bank agency n. 1328, bank account n. 8002176-4, and then send a copy of the receipt by fax or e-mail.

3. If you are abroad, you can make a payment through PayPal.

:: How long does the course take?
After receiving your password you will be entitled to attend the course during 40 (forty) days. During this period, you can either listen to, do, repeat lessons as many times as you want and to get in touch with the teacher whenever you think necessary by e-mail or Skype. The best suggestion is that you work systematically, twice or three times a week, choosing the most convenient hour.
